Eighteen Ramblers assembled on a beautiful morning
(60 degrees) by the Arbor on the Lower Parking Lot at 8 AM. 

Route: Foot of the Dunson garden, Power line down to
river; right on White trail; turned around and returned back to parking lot.

Our
ramble today was through the International Garden to the Physic Garden,
Heritage Garden, and Flower Garden to see the Native Flower Meadows, then down
the Purple Trail to the Orange trail. 
Then the Orange upriver to the Power Line Right of Way and up the Power
line Right of Way to some mints.  We
returned to the White Trail and back to the Arbor.

Despite the
drizzle and threat of thunderstorms fifteen Ramblers met this morning, equipped
with umbrellas or other rain gear. It wasn’t a real rain although it was
persistently moist. But that didn’t dampen our enthusiasm — there was still a
lot to see.
